New ad agency for Miller High Life
Miller Brewing Co. has appointed New York City-based firm Saatchi & Saatchi as the new creative agency of record for its Miller High Life brand. The introduction of Miller's "Take Back the High Life" campaign last year yielded excellent results. The success came after a long stretch of rough weather endured by the company. Saatchi & Saatchi will now spread the "Take Back the High Life" campaign nationally and will launch a second wave of advertisements aimed at major markets. In March, Miller split from Miami-based ad agency Crispin, Porter & Bogusky, which created the Miller Lite "Man Law" campaign. Miller Brewing Co. is one of the major players in the beer business and has been in the industry for more than 100 years.

Bernstein named Bernstein-Rein's new president
Bernstein-Rein has named Steve Bernstein as its president. He succeeds his father, Bob Bernstein, and is the second person to hold the coveted title in the advertising agency's 43-year history. Bob Bernstein will remain the chairman and chief executive officer of the agency, while the agency's co-founder, Skip Rein, will remain vice chairman. The agency's 30-year-long association with Wal-Mart came to an end four months back, at which point the retail giant announced it was moving its account to The Martin Agency. Last year, Bernstein-Rein had revenues of close to $60 million, reflecting an increase of 1.1 % from 2005. The ad agency is now the eighth-largest independent agency and is ranked 37th in the U.S. according to revenue.

Peppers joins JETERA's board of advisors
JETERA One-to-One Media has assigned leading one-to-one marketer Don Peppers to its board of advisors. Apart from being a founding partner of Peppers & Rogers Group, Peppers is also an orator, author, and consultant. Business Week has even called Peppers' and Rogers' first book, The One-to-One Future, "the bible of the new marketing." Peppers' expertise in diverse sectors will benefit the expansion of one-to-one marketing into a new mass media format. JETERA One-to-One Media delivers relevant content through media systems to renowned companies. The company started commercial operations in 2006, and the majority of the company is owned by Venture Capital and Consulting Group, LLC.

Agency.com appoints new president for San Francisco office
Agency.com has hired Jordan Warren to serve as president of the company's San Francisco office. Warren, a recognized veteran entrepreneur, started and began building the online marketing division at CKS (which is now part of Aquantive Avenue A/Razorfish) in 1994. By 1999, he had started his own integrated marketing company, Eleven, in San Francisco, where he acted as president and CEO until 2006. Warren has provided creative solutions to numerous famous brands. Agency.com, a part of Omnicom Group, Inc., is a leading advertising, marketing, and corporate communications company catering to global clients. Based in New York, the agency has 11 offices worldwide.

Studio Center acquires CreativEdge
Virginia Beach, VA-based Studio Center has acquired CreativEdge Film & Video, which is also based in Virginia Beach. CreativEdge will continue to provide production, scripting, concept, graphics, and online-editing services. Studio Center will be able to write, voice, mix, edit, and shoot TV and radio productions throughout the day. Studio Center is America's top commercial production house and produces more than 10,000 commercials annually. The company has been awarded more than 2,000 prizes over the last four decades, including ADDYs, Tellys, Clios, Silver Microphones, and a Grammy Award for participation in the recording of George Carlin's audiobook. CreativEdge Film & Video, a television production company, was established in 1983. Its directors and producers, as well as the company as a whole, have won several local and national awards.
