Advertising Account Manager Jobs.
An advertising account manager has ultimate responsibility for a number of accounts, manages the work of other account managers, and is the key person in charge of budgets and administration. The advertising account manager manages a portfolio of accounts for major high-profile clients and top business leaders. The advertising account manager deals with all aspects of a campaign. The advertising account manager leads and trains other members of the account team. One of the primary responsibilities of the advertising account manager is to achieve sales targets with the help of the accounts team. He also has to deliver sales presentations to high-level managers. The advertising account manager has to attend client meetings; maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, etc.
To get into the field of advertising, candidates need a college education in advertising or media. The advertising account manager also should have a commerce diploma or a certificate in accounts for the job. A post graduate degree in either of the fields is preferable.
