Advertising Executive Jobs
An advertising executive is involved in selling advertising space to businesses in various media, including print, radio, television, and the Internet. Account executives are responsible for reaching their assigned revenue goals, handling customer complaints, managing and increasing sales volumes from loyal customers, keeping track of advertising contracts and renewals, and identifying demographic advertising needs. An advertising executive may also be referred as an ad sales rep, account executive, sales representative, or advertising sales representative.
Advertising executive positions may be available with TV channels, online marketing companies, radio stations, news agencies, or print media agencies. A high school diploma may suffice for qualifying for these jobs. Of course, good communication skills and a pleasant personality are a must for these roles.
