Advertising Sales Jobs

An Advertising sales Director develops, implements, and manages the company's advertising strategy, from every perspective. It is their job to develop budgets and projections for advertising. Advertising sales directors have to negotiate agreements with outside sales representatives. They are also responsible for managing the development of sales materials, including media kits. They are generally responsible for managing a group of advertising sales representatives. On the other hand, advertising sales agents are required to prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers in order to sell new advertising programs, and to protect and increase existing advertising. Advertising sales agents explain to customers how advertising helps promote their products or services in the most effective way possible.
Advertising sales professionals have different requirements for different positions and job profiles. Advertising sales directors are required to have a master's degree in communications or advertising, with more than 10 years of experience in the field. Advertising sales agents can most preferably be graduates in advertising with some or no experience.
