Advertising Vice President Jobs
The Advertising Vice President manages the overall administration of ad programs for assigned clients, including staff administration, ad planning, financial management, budgeting, professional systems development, staff training and professional development. The Advertising Vice President oversees the administration of the advertising department and associated media departments. The Advertising Vice President also determines and directs the overall positioning strategy of the ad structure for clients by meeting with them to determine their goals and objectives. He manages and supervises ongoing client reporting systems including monthly activity reports, client interaction, and special client contact programs. The Advertising Vice President creates budgets for advertising and publicity accounts and oversees management of other commercial accounts including miscellaneous expenditures on behalf of each client. He may also edit and write the concepts for ads, conduct publicity meetings with other ad professionals.
The Advertising Vice President Job candidate should at least have a Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations. At least 7 years agency/client experience in the advertising world is desirable. He should have excellent written, conceptual and verbal communication skills.
