As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for revenue goals, which include growing existing business as well as an emphasis in developing new business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for prospecting and closing new business to run on, and throughout Telemundo Enterprises, including Telemundo, Universo and our Digital assets.
Responsible for developing creative solutions based on advertiser needs/wants
Provide customer service – research, networking, contracts, programming avails, commercial times, production requests, promotion and marketing for all clients
Strategically develop clients’ packages and presentations, utilizing excellent presentation skills
Develop and maintain client lists, meet and exceed quarterly sales budgets and goals
Accurate forecasting of business and ability to lay out both short and long term go-to market plan
Manage agency and client relationships through day-to-day contact
Look for opportunities to develop monetizable solutions for clients and ensure clients receive superior customer service
Understand customer needs and develop solutions with Hispanic Sales Marketing team that meets customer needs
Develop accounts from existing linear business to digital business – work closely with Digital and Client Development teams
Own, manage, and develop relationships with clients (agencies and advertisers)
Continued challenge to master advertising/internet industries and business models
Assist in the mentorship of planners and assistants on the team
A four year degree (B.A., B.S.) from an accredited college or university
A minimum of 6 years sales experience or equivalent hands-on training with a proven success record
Candidates must be computer literate in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and must have the capacity to analyze numeric data
The successful candidate will have excellent presentation skills

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18 years or older
Prior sales experience or sales equivalent experience in television or in a digital media environment
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and professional with superior negotiating skills
Detail-oriented and self-starter
Knowledge of and/or experience with Digital Advertising
Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Capacity to work and analyze numeric data
Excellent interpersonal and client relation skills
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strength in prospecting – generating proposals and closing the sale
Ability to build and maintain relationships at the senior level
