Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated salesperson with great contacts relevant experience working with programmatic buyers to join our Programmatic Sales team. This role will be responsible for managing relationships and growing data with regional, independent agencies and clients across the country. The Regional Account Executive must have 2 years directly selling a programmatic/self-serve solution or buying programmatic media at an agency or trading desk, a clear understanding of the programmatic landscape, and a proven track record of over achievement against goals.

Responsibilities:

Meet/exceed annual revenue expectations

Engage agency, trade desk, and direct client decision makers at all levels

Create and maintain strong relationships with programmatic buyers and influencers

Establish and grow relationships with DSP’s to evangelize our data and ensure buy-side visibility

Leverage your knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape to overcome roadblocks and effectively differentiate MaxPoint’s technology

Identify and develop a strong understanding of clients’ core objectives, challenges, digital advertising, marketing, and measurement needs; and subsequently work with management and internal teams to propose data solutions that meet those needs

Work collaboratively with managed service sales team to maximize revenue across managed and self-service platforms

Exude a team player attitude and mentality to support your fellow teammates and align with MaxPoint culture

Attend industry events and panels, when needed (ex: Digiday, DMP Summits, etc)

Travel as needed to client/agency meetings and conferences as well as some travel for team events, training, etc. (

Required Skills

Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales revenue goals

Proven track record of success managing and growing programmatic revenue

Self-starter with a hunter mentality

Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; including superb presentation, persuasion, listening, and negotiation skills, as well as ability to communicate effectively up and down an organization

Ability to cultivate and grow strong relationships with clients

Ability to prioritize and multi-task while staying focused and organized

Knowledge of and experience in Digital Media and Ad Tech

Qualifications

2 years experience selling a programmatic/self-serve solution OR 2 years buying programmatic media at an agency or trading desk

A network of strong relationships and an excellent reputation at key media agencies and trading desks

Understanding of the different levels/roles within programmatic teams and how to navigate them to drive data usage

An advanced understanding of the programmatic ad marketplace

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Demonstrable experience of generating leads and closing new business
