['Assistant Manager, Corporate Marketing Analytics','174201','Estée Lauder Companies Corporate Departments','Marketing','Americas-US-NY-New York','','','','','Full-time','1st (Day) Shift','','Standard','','','!*!This position helps to drive the analytics & reporting function for the Corporate Marketing Analytics team within Corporate Marketing.  The position will focus on a suite of analytic capabilities in social and digital media/marketing as well as A&P effectiveness measurement (e.g., A&P ROI Modeling analyses) across key brands and top affiliates.  The position works closely with ELC's internal clients, external metrics and modeling vendors as well as external market data providers to provide data, analytics, and insights.  The position establishes high visibility and trust throughout the organization at all levels.KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•A&P ROI Modeling: Help to drive the A&P ROI Modeling initiative, working alongside the ED of Corporate Marketing Analytics in charge of A&P ROI Modeling. Work alongside Estée Lauder Companies stakeholders to identify and extract all internal and external data required for modeling and deliver to selected external vendor. Support the modeling engagement with the selected external vendor who conducts the models, review the modeling process and output. Work with the vendor and the A&P ROI Modeling team to prepare the analysis of findings and recommendations and to drive usage within the organization. •CRM and Marketing Analytics: Assist the team in various types of marketing analytics such as:oSocial media measurement including delivery of scorecards comparing market share with share of paid media, share of engagement from brands’ owned social platforms and share of engagement from influencer-generated social content; oCRM analytics measuring cross-shopping behavior, consumer segmentation (identifying high/medium/low-value consumers), consumer journey analytics (how consumers enter the brand and what products and franchises do they purchase to become high-value), etc.;oSampling effectiveness analysis, understanding lift and ROI of sampling;oGift with Purchase analysis, understanding sales lift and ROI performance of gift with purchase, purchase with purchase and holiday sets and kits;oSimulation and optimization of budget based on the A&P ROI model results.•Ad-hoc Analyses: Support ELC through ad-hoc analyses requested by brand or other function stakeholders around sales performance, measurement, share, ROI, and other business questions as requested through our stakeholders. Partner with internal customers to work through unique business questions to help brands understand how best syndicated data can help improve performance.The position over time may expand into different analytic practices, such as price elasticity measurement and optimization, and other modeling practices to be developed over time.','!*!Education•Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Applied Marketing Work Experience/ Background Characteristics•1-3 years working experience in either profile:oExperience developing, running and interpreting marketing analytics / econometric models (e.g., marketing mix / ROI models) at a vendor or client; or oExperience in a digital media agency or corporation where candidate has experience evaluating and measuring social and digital media content via tools and techniques that assess reach, engagement, and other performance KPIs.•Experience in the cosmetic, FMCG, retail and/or banking industries preferred.•Individual must have a passion for data and be able to interpret and educate users and clients for maximum understanding and application to the business strategy. •Strong hands on analytical/technical experience, with proficiency in Excel/PPT required. •Strong client-focused mindset with the ability to build relationships of respect and integrate to various cultures, including exceptional listening skills and ability to ask the right questions and design and deliver correct data models. ','We are an equal opportunity employer.
