Terminal degree in a media, design, marketing or a related field (Ph.D., MFA). ABD applicants will be considered.
Evidence of excellence in teaching at the university level.
Experience with teaching digital media, multimedia, new technology, and/or social media.
Industry experience in the field of digital marketing, advertising, and/or public relations highly preferred.
12-hour per semester teaching load which may include Introduction to Mass Media and other undergraduate courses consistent with the candidate’s training and interests. Ability to teach digital marketing is a plus.
Play a role in developing and refining the advertising curriculum.
Engage in service activities in the department, university, and profession.
Develop community partnerships, internships and other experiential learning initiatives.
Engage in scholarly and/or creative work.
