The Client Relations Manager enhances and promotes Almost Family in the marketplace by providing information and education to professionals, facilities, organizations, and consumers regarding the services provided as well as the coverage criteria and the reimbursement for these services. The position works with agency staff, physicians, and other professional referral sources to ensure that patient services are delivered in a safe and effective manner; processes are followed; coordination of care is evident; and customer satisfaction is high.As a Client Relations Manager, you will:1. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the community, health care facilities, and referral sources appropriate for Almost Family services in order to promote through customer service and establish a referral relationship with entities which will increase our numbers of clients.2. Champions Almost Family's mission/vision; projects a positive and professional image for Almost Family in the community; acts a strong role model for other Almost Family employees.3. Acts as a liaison between the agency/market and the referral source(s) regarding patient care issues and concerns. Reports any concerns to the Director.4. Maintains and secures all protected health information as required by HIPAA.5. Performs an ongoing market analysis to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction; contributes to the goal of providing exceptional customer service by demonstrating a willingness to ensure that the customer's needs/expectations are always addressed to the fullest extent; identifies trends as to why Almost Family's services are not meeting consumers' needs or the needs of the professional referral community and reports information to the Director.6. Assists the Director in establishing targets and goals for development of all service lines in the market.7. Maintains records of the number of contacts, relevant discussions, results of visits conducted, and any needed follow-up. Reports any concerns to Director.8. Presents Almost Family's programs and available services to civic and community professional groups, health care providers, discharge planners, case managers, trust officers, etc. as requested; provides appropriate guidance to staff regarding program processes.9. Monitors intake logs and communicates with branch location to ensure that all referrals have been responded to in a timely manner and services have been initiated where appropriate; participates with other agency/market managers in identifying needed follow-up or further education.10. Responsible for visiting clients and provides patient condition updates, or change of condition to appropriate agency staff.11. Meets with our VN partner on a regular basis (at least one time per month) to maintain communication flow and receive input and advice regarding Caretenders' programs. Reports opportunities and/or concerns to the Director.12. Reports complaints/concerns to appropriate supervisory personnel in a timely manner. Participates in problem resolution as requested.13. Follows organizational policies and procedures regarding infection control.14. Anticipates staffing needs and is responsible for identifying and hiring appropriate employees for open positions.15. Communicates with Schedulers to identify hiring needs to reduce overtime and increase business.16. Interviews and completes Almost Family Hiring Process obtaining appropriate records for the HR file and updating as the state requires.17. Completes appropriate orientation.18. All other duties as Assigned by the Director. Qualifications:
Home health or health care experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge or the ability to gain an in-depth knowledge of home care regulations required.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and other health care professionals.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
