POSITION SUMMARY Data Analyst position on the Medicare Risk Adjustment team that actively manages and controls data file submissions to the Centers For Medicare\/Medicaid Services. Fundamental Components: Advanced data management position performing complex assignments requiring advanced analytical and technical skills. May serve as Subject Matter Expert for the unit participating in and sometimes leading special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed. This position will be responsible for the submission and reconciliation of data transmitted to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. This position will interact with Vendors, CMS, Provider Collaborations and internal submitters of RAPS and EDS data. This position will be responsible for reconciling files from creation, to CMS submission ensuring key checkpoints during the life of the file. BACKGROUND\/EXPERIENCE desired: 2 years related experience, healthcare a plus (generally required). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Access and Excel. SAS -Tableau, SQL experience a plus Data Analysis and Data Manipulation Follows established schedules, CMS calendars, reporting and requirements. Properly documents work Makes decisions with guidance Maintains assigned financial reports EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
