As a Digital Sales Coordinator, you must have a serious eye for detail and be a very organized individual. Must be skilled with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Duties also include utilizing Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Sales, Matrix, MediaLine, Outlook, multi-line phone system. Great attention to detail is essential. Strong analytic ability and the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Solid understanding of digital marketing basics is fundamental to success in this role. Our perfect candidate will have a solid understanding of Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Mobile Marketing, Digital advertising, key industry terms and trends as well as a desire to continue to learn new things about the industry. Our successful candidate will also have a solid understanding of marketing in general, fundamentals for successful campaigns and the ability to read the tea leaves (analytics) to interpret digital campaign success. Responsibilities include: • Manage every step of the implementation process from contract to creative to campaign delivery • Work with local account executives and station management to make sure all sold digital advertising campaigns are activated and optimized per contracts with advertisers • Graphic design work as needed to develop client web banners, website graphics, contests and other design work as requested by DSM and station managers • Development of local sales collateral for digital sales efforts • Assistance with special projects as requested by station management • Work with corporate to maximize resources • Develop solid working relationship with agency partners to ensure campaign effectiveness and delivery • Self-starter who is able to work independently and stay on task Sinclair Broadcast Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace. The South Carolina Broadcasters Association (SCBA) will present its most prestigious awards to Charles Bierbauer, Debi Chard, Gary Griffin and Bill Sharpe at a dinner and ceremony during their annual Winter Conference. The dinner will be held January 26, 2017 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. SCBA is pleased to announce that Boyd Huppert, well-known American television personality, will be the news speaker at the SCBA News Training Workshop on March 4, 2017 at the Columbia Conference Center. Huppert is a news reporter for KARE 11 in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. Each week, he adds another Land of 10,000 Stories story which has been recognized for its photojournalism. In 2007 Huppert received an Emmy Award for "Portrait of Compassion", which ran on NBC's Today Show. He has won 14 national Edward R. Murrow awards, three Sigma Delta Chi awards, a national Emmy and 92 regional Emmys. He has also won the National Press Photographers Association’s Photojournalism Award for Reporting seven times. Huppert also teaches broadcast seminars throughout the world. Beyond the U.S., Huppert has taught in Canada, Denmark, New Zealand and Norway. He has also been a member of the National Press Photographers Association’s Advanced Storytelling Workshop faculty for nearly 20 years.
