The marketing coordinator is the immediate backup support person for the Field Marketing Director and Managers and is locally responsible for facilitation of key aspects of the marketing department business plan as directed by and in support of the Field Marketing Director and Managers. The coordinator is empowered as a point of contact for the agents in the company regarding marketing technology issues and is an important intermediary between the local operating company and the regional marketing support center.

Responsibilities:

Support Field Marketing Director and Managers by being the primary owner of marketing request planning, accurate and detailed submission, and tracking of projects and deliverables into the regional marketing support traffic system. Monitor timelines and ensure deadlines and lead times are adhered to. Attend weekly regional project management conference calls and be prepared to report and collaborate on all open or requested projects for the local operating company. Be entirely adept at understanding company identity standards and identifying deficiencies in that area. Work closely with regional marketing advertising support resources to monitor all advertising submissions and related deadlines. Collaborate with regional center to issue press releases to promote company and agent news items such achievements, awards, designations, groundbreakings, events, new hires, etc.

Recommend and support e-marketing and social media strategies that are in concert with the local marketing business plan, and upon approval, leverage local and regional technology resources to implement. Make recommendations for local site content and use of site functionality to support the company’s business goals. Be available to support affiliated agents with their understanding of technology and social media.

Support the Field Marketing Director and Managers as requested to coordinate and implement programs and strategies to support agents’ personal marketing efforts,

Interact with the local Field Marketing Director, Managers and Regional Vice Presidents to create and coordinate contests, events and motivational opportunities that support company revenue drivers such as listings taken. Recommend fresh strategies to encourage participation and increase success rate. Coordinate community foundation and charity fundraisers, including securing prize donors, and organizing various marketing components..

Interact with regional e-marketing manager assigned to local company to report problems and issues relating to the company’s consumer websites and local Intranet. Provide content for local site(s) and, when appropriate or as directed, oversee the facilitation of regional support to achieve site content goals.

Other assigned administrative tasks.

Qualificaitons:

4 Year Degree Required (Relevant real estate marketing or support experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

2 years experience in a marketing, advertising agency, or similar acceptable transferable skilled real estate position

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign

Tech Savvy

Ability to read and comprehend complex communications.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, in small, and in large groups to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able to effectively communicate intended message to various employee levels and have prior experience presenting in front of large groups.

Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.

Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and carry a heavy workload a must

Day travel may be required.
