The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for
developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet
organizational objectives and effectively managing the marketing, advertising
and communication programs of the company.

Essential Functions:

Innovate and lead development of new product
concepts and service offerings in targeted categories.

Implement marketing programs to introduce new
product and service offerings to the sales organization, the targeted customer
base and the market to achieve sales goals.

Create marketing strategies, customer value
propositions and support programs that will elevate the perception of NWF as an
innovative supplier.  

Recommend and coordinate efficient use of
marketing resources and technologies to meet organization needs.

Maintain a clear understanding of NWF
capabilities and how the company provides relevant support to meet industry and
specific customer needs & expectations.

Develop and manage product/service marketing
plans by utilizing market & consumer research, as well as, competitive
& trend analysis in preparing strategies and positioning.

Provide the sales organization with leadership
and effective marketing support including sales tools, training, administrative
support and problem solving capability.

Lead coordination and participation in customer
product and trend presentations as well as trade show exhibitions.

Effectively
work with other NWF sales support resources (Culinary, R&D) through
collaboration, consensus building and by demonstrating an ability to foster &
sell ideas.

Job Requirements

Requires
a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising or Business Administration
with substantial real life marketing function and people management experience.
Demonstrated
knowledge and abilities in marketing food products that can include B to B
ingredients, commercial foodservice, consumer brand/product management and
other related segments.
Minimum
10 years of business experience that has included hands-on involvement in
market research/trend analysis, segmentation and positioning, product development,
strategy development and project/program management.
Demonstrated
leadership abilities that include establishing strategic direction,
delivering results through wide organizational involvement, and
maintaining a strong customer focus.
Strong
verbal & written communication skills, analytical abilities,
organizational skills and strong understanding of Adobe applications,
Microsoft 0ffice and Lotus Notes.
Up
to 25% domestic travel typical.
