Job DescriptionThe Paid Search team develops and manages Amazon\u2019s automated global search advertising program on search engines like Google, Bing and Baidu. The channel is Amazon's largest paid marketing channel and leverages in-house technology, big data and machine learning to automate and scale marketing programs across our business. Paid Search is one of the largest levers for Amazon business and new customer acquisition and it is a challenging and rapidly evolving environment. The Paid Search team manages Amazon\u2019s vast keyword portfolio, designs and launches tests to programmatically drive new business and improve ROI. We are seeking a seasoned data-driven Marketing Manager to join our team. The Paid Search Senior Marketing Manager will lead an exciting initiative, defining and owning the strategy and delivery of a set of high-priority retail initiatives. The person in this role will work with internal customers across all levels of the organization and will be responsible for strategic development, campaign execution, experimentation, measurement and optimization of paid search text ads and shopping ads to drive revenue and high-value actions. Hands on support and management of ongoing campaigns are a large part of this role. Keys to success are an ability to assess and prioritize strategic opportunities, establish a roadmap, execute an ongoing set of initiatives, analyze the impacts of each program, and continually optimize results. To do so, the successful candidate will partner closely with the broader Paid Search team at Amazon, as well as with external search-engine partners. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working closely with technical teams, as well as the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders. You will be responsible for: \u2022 Supporting various Amazon marketing stakeholders advising on Paid Search channel performance and strategy \u2022 Initiating, testing and optimizing paid search campaigns both manually and within Amazon\u2019s automated system \u2022 Launching new programs and ensuring keyword freshness with respect to the current catalog \u2022 Reporting daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs \u2022 Communicating performance and status to various business stakeholders \u2022 Developing and continually reassessing a set of strategies to drive profitable growth \u2022 Improving campaign ROI through experimentation including elasticity tests, creative content tests, bidding adjustments and more \u2022 Translating analytical findings into actionable insights and concise business actions and recommendations. \u2022 Working closely with search engine vendors (Google and Bing) to understand their roadmaps and assess opportunities in relation to Amazon
Basic Qualifications\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Marketing, Math/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a similar field required \u2022 7 years of experience in consumer digital marketing, advertising, data analysis or consulting \u2022 Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment \u2022 Excellent communication skills \u2013 both written and verbal \u2022 Analytical experience including converting raw data into actionable insights and recommendations \u2022 Demonstrated ability to work effectively across business and technical teams to deliver results
Preferred Qualifications\u2022 Master\u2019s degree Business, Marketing, Math/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a similar field \u2022 SQL knowledge \u2022 Experience in Paid Search Marketing
