The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for planning, development and execution of marketing communications supporting Cub Cadet’s full line of outdoor power equipment including product launch planning, product messaging, collateral development and advertising campaign management. This position also serves as lead on professional and utility vehicle marketing communications projects.
The Associate Brand Manager must ensure full integration of marketing plans and assist in executing on overall brand strategy for all product categories. Within this role, they may assume responsibility for other projects as assigned by the Cub Cadet Brand Manager, Director of Brand Marketing or Vice President of Marketing in support of execution of the Cub Cadet brand plan.
Project management includes, but is not limited to, the development and execution of advertising materials, product literature, and promotional support
Coordinate research projects, product photography, video content and website content with internal resources on behalf of the brand
Provide support for channel marketing & sales including presentations, meetings, training and special event planning
Facilitate project management by leading and directing marketing partners (i.e. ad agencies, marketing vendors, suppliers)
Develop deep consumer understanding, including engagement with research projects and report-outs; demonstrate brand and product messaging alignment with insights
Ensure integration with other retail channels and brand initiatives through collaborative development, alignment in execution and proactive communication with Channel Marketing and Digital Marketing teams.
Assist Cub Cadet Brand Manager in annual brand strategic planning process
Manage against brand marketing budgets; track expenses and process invoices
This position requires an individual who is detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to present to varied audiences with the ability to demonstrate expertise, win trust and influence decision-making. Service minded, with a desire to work in cross-functional teams. Works closely with channel marketing managers, digital marketing managers, sales account managers, product managers, customers and strategic marketing partners. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects, understand brand marketing strategies and be able to execute on brand and shopper marketing goals and objectives outlined in the Cub Cadet brand plan.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
3-5 years minimum experience in marketing, public relations, advertising
Ad agency experience a plus
Key member of the Cub Cadet brand marketing team within matrix organization. Serves as the brand marketing representative within collaborative support team consisting of sales, marketing, product management, operations, finance and post-sales support.
Must be willing to travel (minimal travel- 15%)
