The Director of Display role is a management position accountable for all aspects of their assigned clients digital display campaigns.The candidate should have the qualities of an Associate Display Director but with increased ownership of the clients media services relationship and a staff.Must work closely with partner media channels to set holistic strategies for their accounts.The role has elements of media planning, performance analysis, staff management and client service.The ideal candidate will have a Media Planner\/Supervisor background, proven leadership skills, a solid track record of developing and executing media strategy.The ability to multi-task while under tight deadlines with team members from various disciplines is required.The Director of Display is responsible for managing a planning team developing their skills, evaluating their performance and managing their growth.It is expected that a Director will participate in the development of the department, ensuring the correct processes are in place for efficient execution of all day to day work.The Director is also responsible for the revenue growth of the accounts they manage and work with the Account Management lead to maintain client confidence.Responsibilities: Oversight on all aspects of clients display servicesAnalyze the results and make optimization recommendations while the media is live and use empirical data to improve results for the next buying cycleHave a clear and technical knowledge of vendors strengths and weaknessesWork closely with media partners to negotiate buys that offer the best value to clientsPresent complex concepts and metrics in a user-friendly wayResponsible for overall media objectives and strategies that fulfill client business goalsLead creation of all important plans and presentationsDemonstrate thought leadership and innovation for enhanced media plans and resultsCommunicate\/Troubleshoot changes to the field and technical teams relating to our tracking methodologyLook at our products and associated available metrics and advises how to use them \/ integrate them with overall platform Proactive driver of their accounts, teams, clients, and departmentCommitment to contribute to agency offering and culture beyond their day to day R&RsUnderstanding of Brand and Performance media and how they work togetherProven track record of leadership and mentorshipAbility to direct Digital strategy and executional processesBring industry perspective and foresight to agency, department, clients Requirements: Knowledge of social metrics and platformsPMD\/FMP management experienceExperience using comScore and 3rd party ad serving technology (i.e., DoubleClick)6-8 years media experience including at least 3 years in interactive planningProgrammatic Experience (DMP, DSP, exchange)Proven leadership skills and management experience (have managed a team of 3 )Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically in Media Plan presentationsDiverse account background including some direct response and awarenessMust have a Bachelors Degree5 years (combined) experience with online media planning and web\/media analytics and reporting3 years digital or online advertising industry experience preferred2 years of people management experience requiredAbility to work with MS Office product suite including exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills, Access a plusThe ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment and meet tight deadlinesBe a self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a teamAvailability to travel up to 20% of the time
