They will work with a full range of issues related to the successful siting and permitting of a transmission project and will be accountable for making sound communications-related recommendations and decisions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Identify, develop, and coordinate delivery of overall outreach efforts targeted at electric transmission line and substation projects. Serve as a resource for public interaction and project outreach. Function as a key member of an overall project team who interfaces with, or supports interaction with, internal and external audiences including individual customers and local officials.Education and Experience Requirements:Zero to two years of experience in customer relations and or communications.Zero to two years of experience Electric Transmission or public utility experience preferred.Zero to two years of experience in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Bachelors' Degree in in Journalism, Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Public Affairs or related discipline or equivalent education/experience.Requisite Abilities and Skills: Demonstrate the ability to develop policies and standards for the acquisition of cost effective and time sensitive easement acquisitions.
