The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® has an immediate opening for a Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing, Beverage & Food located in the Home Office in Los Angeles. The Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing is a unifying force behind The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, developing the new product innovation and launch plans that lead to an impactful product portfolio coupled with an integrated marketing plan in market. You will ensure The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® brand is consistent with key product introductions throughout the year.
Product Innovation & Commercialization: Work with Product Development to develop a strong 12-month innovation pipeline in beverage and food. Define the positioning and packaging for all new products. Lead cross functional project management efforts, collaborating with consumer insights, product development, supply chain, operations, franchise, and finance teams to launch new products on time and in scope.
Product Assortment & Portfolio Mix: Work with Product Development team to optimize product assortment and overall menu mix, driving sales for our target Guest.
Menu Boards & Pricing: Leverage consumer insights and competitive menu board analysis to lead finance, operations, and creative design partners in the optimization of menu board design and pricing.
Branding & Marketing Management: Liase with creative partners and internal communications team members to ensure on-time and on-budget execution of the team’s marketing plans. Support communications partners in the development of in-store printed campaigns, external advertising campaigns, and online digital campaigns.
Implementation & Executional Excellence: Inspire cross functional teams (internal & external) to execute with excellence, ensuring on-time and accurate deliverables.
Measurement & Reporting: Work with Consumer Insight & Finance Teams to evaluate effectiveness of new product innovation, marketing programming, and corresponding marketing investment. Continuously seek to improve existing programming.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
B.A. Degree in Marketing/Advertising or related communications/ business degree preferred.
7-10+ years of relevant experience in brand management, project management, marketing or other related area.
Must be highly analytical - able to conceptualize research and objectively evaluate new ideas, from a marketing and financial standpoint. Skills and understanding in marketing research, sales forecasting, and promotional planning.
Technical - ability to perform financial analyses.
QSR experience/casual dining preferred.
Extensive MS Office required.
Ability to work independently across many functions.
Sound judgment and decision making skills.
Strong interpersonal, written, communication and relationship building skills.
Multi-task and time management skills.
Detail and customer service oriented, with respect for confidentiality.
Must be able to present research results in a clear and concise manner to various levels of the management and support team.
