The Insights Marketing team within the Global Business Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Strategist to develop and activate robust insights content packages for Facebook IQ. Facebook IQ (https://www.facebook.com/business/insights?ref=ens_rdr) delivers the insights marketers need to understand consumer behavior, drive more effective marketing and transform how their businesses reach people. Learning from the billions of people on our platforms and the millions of businesses that advertise with us, we provide insights into behaviors both on and off our platforms across audiences, markets, devices and time. Our original research and interactive tools help marketers find insights to inspire and inform campaigns.
The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in research, strategic planning, business marketing and content creation. This person is able to leverage Facebook data and third party research and transform them into compelling insights stories that can be marketed to priority internal and external audiences. This person will be responsible for identifying the most actionable and salient findings and insights, and developing world-class sales materials based on these findings. Excellent content creation and marketing acumen are critical to success in this position, as is a demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams and with external partners and clients.
Identify topics of interest to marketing audiences and leverage the Facebook IQ insights brand and platform to address these topics
Use storytelling to illuminate advertising best practice guidance by creating compelling insight driven content that makes complex subject matter approachable
Works directly with our Marketing Science stakeholders to identify, synthesize and communicate latest research and best practice guidance priorities to be packaged and/or integrated into Facebook IQ owned content packages or global Marketing programs
Develops strong collaborative partnerships with key internal stakeholders and global partners to define strategy and business goals, get buy-in of efforts and deliver valuable insights packages for sales and marketing programs
Travel is expected approximately 25% of the time
4 years experience in a marketing or communication function at a media company, publisher, measurement provider, or agency
Experience with digital and traditional media and their advertising principles
Experience with measurement concepts, solutions and the advertising industry
Experience in analysis and communication
Experience translating concepts into communications
Experience working cross-functionally
Experience in project management
Experience working across markets and regions
Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment
