Edelman Digital is looking for an ambitious and highly experienced Digital Account Supervisor to join our Chicago team.

DIGITAL ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

– confident in speaking to and educating about the rapidly changing digital landscape, including platforms, technology and innovation
Client partner
– knowledgeable about the markets, sectors and channels in which the client operates; uses internal and external resources to address knowledge gaps and speed learning with colleagues
Actively listens
– asks smart questions, listens to what’s not being said, is willing to have honest, ongoing dialogue about what’s working and what isn’t
Solution-oriented
– identifies and acknowledges challenges swiftly and directly; offers solutions and course-corrects as needed
Measures what matters
– tracks progress and reports results based on agreed-upon metrics and achievement of business goals, as well as program-specific KPIs
Leads by example

DIGITAL ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

RESPONSIBILITIES
Forge strong relationships with cross-functional internal and client stakeholders
Serve as a day-to-day digital advocate, helping to define and execute against business goals and objectives
Manage, supervise and motivate junior team members
A critical player in the strategic planning and execution of comprehensive integrated programs & campaigns
Develop briefing and presentation materials; evolve and develop streamlined processes to help improve account operations; stay abreast of digital offerings across key platforms and media landscape
Accountable for understanding how to evaluate performance-driven digital ideas, creative and technical decisions and provide thoughtful feedback that is rooted in digital best practices
Address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
Pursue opportunities for growth on key accounts and participate in relevant new business pitches based on skill sets and interest
Actively track and update team on client budgets, out-of-pocket expenses and other fiscal responsibilities
Oversee cross-functional activity including creative, production, paid media and analytics teams to deliver programs on time and on budget
DIGITAL ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, advertising and communications or related field
Candidates must have experience across a versatile set of brands and industries
Has knowledge of and has effectively worked with legal review processes and is the primary eyes toward brand guidelines and potential risks
Digital/integrated agency experience is highly preferred
Supervisor-level client service expertise with a concrete history of taking visible action to provide high-quality, strategic creative outcomes and consultation to clients
Comfortable owning integrated programs independently and actively managing integrated teams with fluid, proactive communication and coordination with different subject matter experts and key stakeholders
A demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful digital strategy and programs
