In your role as a Senior Visual Designer, you will be overseeing the design team that assists the sales team in pre and post-sale design. Your day-to-day tasks will consist of managing workloads as well as creating visually engaging, innovative and functional mobile and Web assets.
Core duties and responsibilities
As our Senior Visual Designer, your responsibilities will include managing a team of sales designers, as well as working on day-to-day projects, such as RFP’s and post sales. You will be working with several areas of design such as typography, iconography, color, space and texture. You will use your knowledge, expertise and skills in all these fields to assist our sales team in creating beautiful mocks and sold units for clients on our site.
Manage a team of sales designers
Work closely with the creative project manager on allocating projects and managing workloads
Become a point member to work between creative and other various teams, including: Native, Sales, Brand Strategy & Innovation and Engineering.
Create mock-ups determined by Brand Strategy and Innovation team, and visually translate into concept, design, artwork, and layout solutions
Create emails, banner ads, post graphics and social media graphics for pre and post-sale
Update and/or prep existing Photoshop files for clients and exports graphics for use on web, print or in video
Build branded Keynote and Google Slides decks based on previously made templates as well as come up with new, creative ways for sales team to pitch ideas to clients
4 years experience, ideally in marketing/advertising, preferably within a progressive creative agency
Portfolio exhibiting digital marketing pieces, logos/identity, ads, sales marketing collateral
Excellent design skills and Mac proficient
The ability to refine other people’s ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience
Can work collaboratively with a team, independently and under close direction
Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast evolving environment
High proficiency levels in Adobe Creative Suite programs and Apple Keynote
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in the graphic design field.
