WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We\u2019re looking for a consumer-first senior marketer who understands how to drive brand storytelling through content, at the intersection of earned, shared, owned and paid touchpoints. The ability to engage consumers and stakeholders using insight-fueled, measurable strategy, and communicate widely is key to success in this role. This person is person is able keep diverse teams aligned around a strategic north star in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment. This person should love the idea of creating and bringing a marketing calendar to life in every way, pioneering new tools and unique and unexpected ways to engage; aligning campaign strategies and key marketing touchpoints end to end. Increases awareness, maintains brand affinity across all channels, and helps drive brand differentiation in the marketplace.
Advertising & Media planning \u2013 including relationships with our agency partners, lead briefing process and creative development. Help lead agency searches from RFP to selection
Content Strategy & Content Marketing practice \u2013 undertake a complete re-think of the role of every content and social channel within our business, our strategy and objectives, measurement and how to most effectively structure people, communications and agencies to make our content channels really \u2018sing\u2019 as a source of brand growth, leads and employee applications.
Annual marketing calendar and planning cycle built upon both business and brand objectives
Develop our messaging framework against key strategic objectives, ensuring that external initiatives all ladder up to a consistent set of desired outcomes
Create and implement an Editorial Calendar process to drive integration and alignment between departments, communication priorities and our overall messaging hirearchy
Help define the equity framework between the parent (Trilogy) brand and the individual campuses \u2013 we need to formalize what associations and strengths each brings to the other and their meaning to target audiences. and we need to design a set of processes that allow enough autonomy at the campus level to bring that to life while promoting brand consistency.
Public Relations \u2013 help define roles, objectives and department structures and hire a team to lead external communications \u2013 especially in the area of thought leadership and \u2018good news\u2019 personal, people-oriented storytelling as well as amplification of successes and wins.
Social Media \u2013 Transform our social approach \u2013 to include social strategy and staffing, channel prioritization and role of each channel, to views on community management, social listening, analytics and reporting to how our page structures work, and how all channels interact with the customer journey, leads and advocacy.
Team Structure, Recruiting, Engagement & Growth \u2013 optimize our structure and key roles to accomplish the work above; partner with talent department to recruit great leaders and contributors enthusiastic about Trilogy\u2019s vision and values.
Loyalty and referral \u2013 explore and recommend innovative ideas to sustain and grow existing long term relationships with families of residents as well as employees.
Analyze, monitor and report on the competitive landscape to determine where our brand and products fit over time, where to target consumers and how to have the greatest impact for our brand and business
10-15 years of consumer brand management and/or integrated marketing ideally in both corporate and more entrepreneurial environment. Agency experience included. Hospitality experience particularly desired.
Experience with developing consumer brands through the full brand lifecycle and in partnering with business development to drive leads and improve conversion through the sales process.
4 year Degree in Marketing, advertising, Communications or other discipline, or a combination of degree and experience.
Proven track record in connecting brand and product marketing to measurable business outcomes
Ability to blend traditional and digital marketing in cohesive consumer first campaigns
Able to provide leadership, mentorship and build internal culture
Experience utilizing a number of different methodologies to understand consumers, identify opportunity areas and drive cohesive experiences
History of successfully mentoring and developing junior team members and interns
