Description Reporting to the Associate Director of Content Strategy, the Content Manager will be responsible for proposing, developing and executing concepts and content for high-profile Temple marketing and communications, with a strong emphasis on advertising copy. This work will focus on but not limited to: enhancing the Temple brand and reputation nationally, increasing alumni engagement, and building prospective student awareness and engagement. The manager develops concepts, researches, writes, edits and produces content across multiple digital and print media platforms. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor\u2019s degree in communications or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience working in digital content creation. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.\u00a0 Required Skills & Abilities: * Must have a firm grasp of grammar and content best practices, and be a skilled, accomplished, persuasive, web-savvy writer.\u00a0* Must have demonstrated experience with copyediting and proofreading.\u00a0* Ability to turn around accurate, compelling content quickly.* Ability to pay thoughtful attention to detail.* Ability to multitask efficiently and problem-solve creatively.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with supervisors and colleagues.\u00a0* Demonstrated proficiency with content management systems, tools and platforms and be fully immersed in digital media and its culture, trends and best practices.\u00a0* Knowledge of advertising best practices.* Superior communication and interpersonal skills.* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy of work.* Demonstrated ability to effectively and collaboratively work as part of a cross-functional team.* Superior organizational skills - must be able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.* Must be able to work well under pressure.* Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills including the ability to establish cooperative working relationships with supervisors, colleagues and campus partners.\u00a0* Ability to attend staff events as needed (including occasional nights and weekends).
