KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Lead the development and delivery of advisory services to clients, primarily with services related to information advantage.
Translate advanced business analytics problems into technical approaches and solutions that yield actionable recommendations for deployment within the information domain (including social and digital media, advertising platforms, search engines, and other communication fora)
Lead and support the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers, and training efforts
Provide leadership in the development of communication plans and strategies, including theories of change and the monitoring of evaluation plans
Conduct information environment analysis, including target audience analysis and impact assessment
Produce technical analysis in support of information advantage objectives, including social network analysis, sentiment analysis, statistical analysis, narrative resonance, identification of coordinated or inauthentic activity, and forecasting
Lead workstreams and small to moderate sized diverse and distributed teams, coach and mentor team members for high performance
Provide technical connection between project managers, data scientists, and data engineers
Lead the design of client-ready deliverables including bespoke analytic reports, PowerPoint decks, and other data visualizations
Responsible for providing guidance to clients with up to C-level client interactions
Provide support to business development activities such as proposal development and other pursuit activities
A minimum of five years of relevant work experience related to information environment analysis, or related areas of focus, including target audience analysis, cognitive targeting, communication planning, and impact assessment; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Advertising, Data Analytics, Information Science or a related discipline from an accredited college/university; related Masters degree from an accredited college/university preferred
Operational experience in information operations, marketing and advertising, strategic communication, or countering disinformation
Proven strong understanding of social, digital and traditional media; Internet usage trends and search engine optimization; social network analysis, sentiment analysis, and narrative resonance. Familiarity with statistical analysis, predictive analytics, modeling, and forecasting preferred. Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or public opinion polling a plus
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S. Citizenship
