is looking for an Account Director
to join our
Dallas, Texas
office.
The Account Director has financial, leadership and managerial responsibility for all assigned accounts and ensures that the agency is well prepared to meet all possible client marketing, timeline and budget needs. CPG/Shopper experience required. The Account Director has overall responsibility for agency output and provides supervision, perspective and leadership in the development of the highest-quality product possible and team dynamic. Further, the Account Director has involvement in the supervision and development of subordinates and team.
What You'll Do In This Role:
Great Work: Creates an environment, standard and vision for the development, sell-in and delivery of great work.
Ensures delivery against the “right” brief. Motivates and leads team to deliver Integer approach and high-quality, excellent ideas and output.
Sells incremental work and current ideas via smart sell-in strategies and strong presentations. Engages and leads team through collaborative process.
Partners with clients to set priorities and provide value.
Sets and manages expectations with the client and agency partners and champions the agency.
Ensures high-quality work output, great project management, flawless delivery and elimination of agency errors within the team.
Navigates client process, stakeholders, and culture.
Anticipates client barriers, objectors and influencers, and sets strategies to overcome.
Understands the role of digital and how it can build and amplify our client’s business.
Creates relationship strategies by assessing role, style and needs of key clients.
Can articulate Integer’s positioning as a Commerce Agency and is engaged in continuous learning & development activities (e.g., internally taught Commerce Certification training class).
People: Develops people and internal relationships for the future.
Ensures strong internal team health, including strong team trust and collaboration.
Ensures individual team member growth by providing mentorship as well as challenging growth assignments and opportunities.
Contributes to the agency through training, case studies, connecting cross-team/client, thinking beyond your team assignment.
Provides leadership on business, people, ideas.
Contributes to the agency by teaching IU classes, participating in new business and cross-pollinating new thinking.
Shares client business information so that the entire cross-functional team has the appropriate understanding of client information/knowledge.
Financial Stewardship: Leads a healthy and growing business through financial
and business management.
Responsible for development and management of overall Account Strategy to ensure exceptional client satisfaction, health of the business and growth.
Provides financial stewardship and manages scope and resources in order to deliver financial health and meet financial goals. Drives organic growth on the business and supports agency new business efforts.
Establishes strong cross-functional relationships and leads the business collaboratively with department peers.
Addresses and solves both external and internal conflict, and practices and models effective communication externally and internally.
Builds resource allocation appropriate to the business.
Represents and sells our services, capabilities, proprietary thinking.
Constantly assesses and keeps the team’s eye on the prize – right resources on right work.
Drives client business.
Builds high-performing business partnership and relationships that add value through thought leadership and trusted advisor approach. Brings the outside in to clients.
Deeply understands and applies business, client and retail/promotion/digital/shopper marketing expertise to create marketing solutions and proactive thought leadership.
Grasps emerging social and digital marketing trends and how these relate to growing a brand within a specific category landscape.
Understands Integer’s unique contribution within the holistic marketing mix and provides value, defends space, aligns client to “the right work” and achieves success in retail, shopper and promotion marketing.
Navigates the client organization (including marketing, sales, customer, shopper marketing and beyond) for the purpose of growth, sell-in and effective delivery of our marketing solutions.
Identifies landscape inputs necessary to initiate a planning process, understands the planning process, engages appropriate experts within the team and formulates a plan of action against a client opportunity.
Leverages Integer frameworks, thought leadership and approaches in assessing client’s business, providing POVs and leading development of work. Understands and applies the barriers and opportunities identified by the 3 Lens Model™ and The Shopper Continuum
Innovation: Innovates client and agency business for the future.
Analyzes a client’s business needs/gaps in order to proactively identify relevant scope of work and white space projects/thinking. Is able to articulate a compelling POV around the need/gap areas.
Ensures we are identifying and tackling white space opportunities – to future-proof both clients’ business and Integer business.
Innovates from within – leverages “the view from within the team” to drive change and drive us forward.
The Experience You'll Bring:
A Bachelor’s Degree in related field, plus:
10-plus years of professional service experience with regular client contact (minimum of 3 years in a creative environment)
8-plus years of experience in a marketing or advertising environment
3-plus years management/supervision experience
CPG/Shopper Marketing experienc
Ability to conceptualize an integrated marketing mix (advertising, promotion, retail, packaging, digital, media, PR, etc.)
Ability to lead and inspire a team
Ability to recognize and develop creative ideas
Excellent professional presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Collaborative
Organized and detail-oriented (must demonstrate attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks/projects)
Solution-oriented
