ForwardPMX is hiring for an Associate Director, Paid Digital Media and Audience Growth. This position will be focused on managing day-to-day paid digital media (social, display SEM) and growth platform initiatives to acquire and retain constituents for our nonprofit clients. This is a fast-paced environment in a growing company and an excellent opportunity for career growth.


As part of an integrated media strategy and services team, provide strategic counsel to clients, understand their business, and serve as their go-to thought leader on paid digital media and list growth opportunities

Develop and execute paid digital media strategies to acquire, retain, upgrade and steward our clients’ target audiences

Build and manage budget proforma for paid digital media and growth platforms (third-party fundraisers, loyalty programs, lead generation campaigns, emerging platforms etc.), ensuring optimal media mix for business goals

Manage team to lead execution, Q/A and performance of paid media strategies

Identify optimal media channel mix ensuring strong balance of upfront and long-term value of new donors

Evaluate media performance and recommend course corrections in audience targeting, media mix and creative approach

Ensure company processes and best practices are leveraged such as campaign launch, Q/A and ongoing performance management

Manage daily relationships with vendors and technology platforms

Stay abreast of current best practices, strategies, and industry standards related paid digital marketing including search engine marketing, display and social media, native advertising and other relevant paid media opportunities


Must have minimum 5 years of paid digital marketing experience

Background in direct response or nonprofit fundraising required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Hands on experience managing online campaigns across a variety of vendors (i.e. Google AdWords, DCM, Facebook Business etc.)

Adept at explaining difficult concepts using simple language and graphics

Mastery of all basic paid digital advertising concepts

Complete understanding of bid management systems/practices

Strong project management skills

Deadline and detail oriented

Well-honed analytical skills

Ability to multi-task

High energy and a positive attitude

Ability to manage different personalities as well as the ability to exude confidence and expertise in client meetings

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint

Google AdWords or Facebook Blueprint certification a plus

College degree, marketing preferred
