Inmar is seeking a results-driven Director of Business Development (DBD) who will be responsible for driving new business with global CPG brands, media, shopper, and creative agencies. The DBD will lead the identification, development, and execution of key revenue generating opportunities in Inmaru2019s newly acquired Gratafy platform, which will meaningfully impact the companyu2019s short and long-term growth in a scalable way. The DBD will work most closely with the business VP but also collaborate frequently with members across the organization. The role requires a diverse and deep background in digital distribution, ad agency / media sales, and platform SAAS technologies. The DBD must have the ability to conceptualize, negotiate, and secure contracts from director and VP level executives. He or she must also possess a track record of effectively pitching and properly positioning new technology driven marketing solutions, and a demonstrated history of closed and executed programs. This is a pivotal role for Inmar, and will suit a passionate self-starter and experienced BD professional who is excited to unlock a massive new market opportunity. Overarching Duties Drive Gratafy platform growth through new business with leading brands in the hospitality, alcohol, consumer beverage, and broader CPG categories that create winning results. Run a full funnel sales process from account stakeholder identification, outreach, needs analysis, proposal development, presentation, through account management and growth. Understand underlying technology capabilities and work collaboratively with team leads from program conception, to implementation, to tracking, with the goal of creating the best possible program results for client needs. Minimum Job Requirements 5 years relevant industry experience in high tech, tech startup, or digital media sales. 3 years experience as a business development executive. Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment; hungry for challenge and opportunity. Proven track record of negotiating contracts generating in excess of $2 million in annual revenue as an individual contributor. Must have a business background and clear business understanding of how product drives financial success. Very strong analytical and negotiation skills. Availability and willingness to frequently travel domestically and internationally. Must have sales experience in mobile-first companies. Comfortable and confident dealing with ambiguity. Experience selling at the national and global level with Fortune 1000 companies. Experience working with large agencies such as WPP and OMD. Experience working with marketing executives and media companies. Interest in technology and the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms. Coachable and willingness to learn quickly with a high level of self-motivation to constantly improve.
