Profile

The Ad Yield Manager is an important position that helps to drive revenue and strategy for Demand Media’s portfolio of owned and operated sites. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to fill a key role in a top 20 comScore media company. Ideal candidate will embrace working in a fast paced environment and think analytically about ways to increase revenue. Key roles will include analyzing and optimizing ad inventory on a daily basis, prospecting and relationship management with revenue partners and working closely with site teams to create best practices in ad monetization. Will be working with many different teams across the organization including ad operations, product and finance teams. Role is highly visible throughout the organization and will give ideal candidate a great platform to grow and be heard amongst leaders in the organization and industry.Responsibilities:

Manage worldwide daily desktop inventory across owned and operated sites of top 20 comScore publisher
Manage day-to-day relationships for a variety of monetization partners including ad exchanges, ad networks and DSPs
Analyze different deals as well as site modifications to test out net strategies to increase overall inventory yield
Bring new monetization ideas to the table and work with ad ops to onboard new partners
Have working knowledge of all different current forms of desktop monetization (display, search, native, etc.)
Work independently to deliver proactive recommendations for better and more effective monetization efforts
Be a master of overall yield ecosystem and rabidly passionate about ad tech
Employ detail oriented project management and entrepreneurial skills to execute in a fast moving environment

Requirements:

BA/BS – an emphasis in Business or Math a plus
2 Years of relevant online advertising experience required
Experience in business development and negotiations a plus
High level knowledge of ad servers and tags as well as ad exchange environments
Ability to problem-solve creatively
Proficiency in standard computing tools – spreadsheet (Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint) applications
Strong analytical skills
Strong knowledge of overall ad tech landscape
