\rMcClatchy, one of the nation’s most trusted sources of national and local news, is seeking a Digital Advertising Product/Compliance Manager to join our programmatic advertising sales team based in Raleigh, NC.\r\r\rThe Digital Advertising Product/Compliance Manager is responsible for maintaining the health of our digital ecosystem to meet our advertising partners objectives. He or she will work closely with sales/marketing, ad operations and McClatchy’s programmatic sales partners to identify the highest potential product improvements in key areas such as viewability and fraud as well as ensuring McClatchy’s digital toolset is in compliance with MRC and Trustworthy and Accountability Group accreditation standards. The role is highly cross-functional, and requires strong analytical and research skills, the ability to work well with a wide range of types of people, and a passion for innovation.\rWe are looking for a visionary and customer obsessed Product/Compliance Manager to create innovative tools for building ads and a transparent media supply chain to optimize results for our advertisers. We are looking for someone who has good judgment, can bring structure to undefined problems, easily move been the nitty-gritty details and the big picture while moving fast.\r\rResponsibilities\r\r\r Gain a deep understanding of our existing display, native/sponsored content and video advertising business and technical infrastructure, in order to identify issues and areas for improvement\r Work closely with sales, marketing and ad ops to collect, vet, and prioritize ideas for potential product enhancements to McClatchy’s display advertising product set\r Analyze data on product usage and performance to optimize and enhance our advertising business\r Collaborate cross-functionally to roll out new products and initiatives, working closely with employees from across the organization to ensure success growth and profitability targets\r Improve and maintain the key metrics important to our advertisers across our network such as viewability and mitigating fraud across our network\r Ensure McClatchy display, mobile, native and video inventory is in compliance with Trust and Accountability Group compliance guidelines for inventory quality\r\r\r
\r\r 3 years of experience in e-commerce, technology or digital sector including 2 years in a RTB/programmatic or digital advertising environment\r Experience working with digital accreditation agencies highly desired.\r Ability to manage projects of varying size and scope simultaneously while prioritizing appropriately\r Define business metrics and guide the broader digital advertising business with data.
