Sr. Director, Marketing
Directs and oversees the organization’s marketing strategy, marketing policies, marketing budget, objectives, and initiatives. Conducts market research and develops marketing plans for specific products, services, or business lines. Identifies changes in the marketing environment or competitive strategies and evaluates, adjusts, or redrafts the organization's marketing plan and philosophy accordingly. Overall accountability for the financial effectiveness of all marketing initiatives
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Develop and lead the execution of marketing strategies designed to meet or exceed customer growth, retention and revenue projections. Monitor and evaluate results.
Responsible for competitive strategy/pricing to achieve market share objectives within relevant profitability bounds and sets direction for product marketing plans to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies. Develops the marketing strategy for the organization.
Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services
Evaluate the financial aspects for Marketing, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
Select, manage, measure and leverage the engagement of vendors as needed in the execution of marketing strategies.
Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business development and monitoring market trends.
Work closely with the sales organization to generate leads though national, promotional offers and by delivering marketing collateral for use with customers as well as lead a strong marketing communications function for the business.
Direct, manage and ensure the organization’s Marketing brand and brand integrity.
Direct and manage all customer facing communication.
Strategically work with Corporate Communications on the Media Public Relations Strategy
Effectively work cross functionally with all constituencies in the business to motivate and lead a strong market facing culture in the business
Partner with senior leadership in continuing to plan and budget the marketing activities of the business on a national basis and work with direct report in order to achieve marketing goals and objectives.
