To be blunt, we're looking for entrepreneurs.
Our sales team is small but growing. We are looking for entrepreneurs who can build out our sales division as if it was their own business -- a startup within a startup. It is a tough sales job, and it isn't for everyone. It's inside sales, and just being good with people isn't gonna cut it. You'll sell our service over the phone to restaurant owners all over the country by asking good questions, being perceptive to prospects challenges, being persistent and working hard. You'll get excellent training, leads, resources, and support to ensure you succeed, but no level of sales skill you think you might possess can take the place of the dedication and mental focus required to excel here.
If you're fortunate enough to be hired for this position, you'll form part of our small core sales team. That means a) you'll be directly responsible for company growth, and we will praise you (read: pay you well) for it, b) you’ll mentor others as you help build our sales department from the ground up, and c) you'll be first in line to take advantage of opportunities to grow professionally.

Prospect for new clients and close deals on the phone. #hustle
Run targeted email campaigns, sent to prospective clients
Educate restaurant owners on how to leverage social technology to improve customer service for their business
Achieve monthly sales quota
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of new client prospects
Track performance metrics, including connects, scheduled meetings, and other success KPI's
A bunch of other stuff that might come up, because after all, we're a startup, and things don't always follow a plan
*Must be able to work full-time at our office headquarters in Chico, CA - We are not hiring remotely based/telecommuting team members at this time*
Here are the qualities we're looking for:
Heightened sense of curiosity
Ability to absorb & apply coaching
Ability to learn complex concepts quickly and communicate those concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
Knowledge of sales psychology - closing strategies, buying signals, etc.
Self-motivated, hungry, ambitious, competitive and winning attitude
Smart, intuitive, and consultative approach to overcoming objections
Insatiable desire to learn and improve skills
Passion for sales
Strong familiarity with key social media platforms
Bonus: 2 years experience directly closing in an inside sales role
Bonus: Experience cold calling and/or selling door-to-door
