Job Description

The Associate Media Manager (AMM) is responsible for supporting client paid search campaigns toward stated client and company objectives. Reporting to the Media Director, the AMM provides assistance to internal client service teams, and at the direction of the Media Director, initiates and coordinates projects with other internal departments.

Role Objectives:

Client Service & Program Support

Provides daily paid search account service to assigned client accounts

Conducts keyword and website research using online tools

Manages reporting process and tracking of campaigns

Assists with budget management

Conducts one-on-one updates with Media Manager

Participates in weekly/monthly status calls

Submits and manages requests for copy and reporting via Shared Services organization

Assists with competitive reviews

Assists with program tests

Implements best practices in account and program management

Assists with ad copywriting with partners and clients for campaigns

Begins understanding basic online media planning techniques and practices

Possess a basic understanding of clients and partner agencies functions

Accomplishes multiple tasks in a timely manner and with accuracy

Provides assistance willingly, as needed, to other account staff on the team

Develops skills as an expert in specific areas

Proves understanding of larger digital landscape and how small tasks affect the big picture

Collaborates with others colleagues of different channel expertise

Analytics & Reporting

Supports assigned accounts in pulling data and creating reports and presentations

Tracks work assignments daily

Manages and updates client task reports

Tracks and reports client budgets

Performs ad hoc analysis and reporting

Job Requirements:


Bachelor’s Degree required; concentration in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Mathematics, Economics preferred

1 years of work experience in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce

Working knowledge of Google, Bing, Yahoo SEM platforms

Strong analytical and implementation skills

High competency level in MS Excel and advanced functions

Understanding of the digital media landscape with strong desire to learn

Able to work as directed and balance multiple tasks
