Grade: The Account Supervisor is responsible for maintaining relationships with the client and the internal advertising agency; acting as a primary liaison for their clients. The Account Supervisor ensures communication; timelines and overall client marketing and advertising needs are met. The Account Supervisor will responsible for executing advertising strategies and overseeing execution of marketing campaigns and creative requests through completion, as well as recommending solutions to ensure we are meeting the needs of the client. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.Ensure that projects are produced on time and on budget.Liaison between clients and advertising agencies.Train staff.Supervise team member workloads.Ensure the effective, efficient and correct flow of communication.Update status reports, agendas and conference reports.Brief media, creative and research staff on projects.Execute advertising strategies.Assist in preplanning of advertising projects at the property level.Write creative briefs for advertising, naming and collateral.Provide direction and recommendations to agencies and clients.Oversee jobs through completion.Conduct and attend internal and external meetings.Interface with property representatives.Open jobs and complete change orders.Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Build client and team relationships.Supervise processes and staff.Typically reports to a manager or director.Perform other job related duties as requested\r
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.At least 2 years of experience in Advertising or related field.Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced work environment.Advanced research skills.Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.Strong organization skills.Detail oriented.Possess creativity and ingenuity.Team player.Excellent communication skills.Excellent customer services skills.Able to lead and mentor a team.Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.Professional appearance and demeanor.Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.High School diploma or equivalent.Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.\r
Preferred:At least 1 year of supervisory experience.Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
