Financial Analytics Manager
About the team:
The Analytics team supports an extremely fast-paced growing technology company that is at the forefront of internet advertising. Our team interacts with many aspects of the company including Sales, Operations, Finance and Product as well as management at all levels. The Analytics group’s responsibilities continue to grow substantially due to the rapid growth of the business, allowing significant opportunities for its members.
Analytics analyzes key business indicators to forecast growth, assist in strategic and tactical decision-making, evaluate business opportunities, and solve complex multi-dimensional problems that have far-reaching implications across the AppNexus ecosystem. Analytics is responsible for measuring and reporting the drivers for revenue, cost and other non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through advanced use of financial modelling as well as statistical and data-mining techniques.
About the job:
Drive data driven decisions and insights across the Commercial, Product, Finance, Business Intelligence and Operations Teams
Partner with Commercial Leaders and teams by providing regular insight on operational and financial performance
Support AppNexus’ overall growth by providing ongoing analysis of business performance and forecasting (both recurring and ad hoc)
Assess new opportunities to accelerate growth across geography, product, channel, and beyond, while increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness
Provide recommendations for efficient resource allocation and investment
Support creation of analyses and materials for review by AppNexus Executives and Board of Directors
Monitor AdTech ecosystem to ensure AppNexus leadership stays abreast of industry trends and competitive dynamics
Support corporate development and investor relations activities
About your skills:
3-5 years of experience in a quantitative role (e.g. in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, FP&A or Corporate Development)
Motivated to find creative solutions to quantitative problems
Demonstrable interest or experience in Internet Advertising, Marketing, Ecommerce and Technology
Experience in client or stakeholder management
Skilled communicator and presenter
Strong analytical and modelling capabilities in excel
SQL/Python skills a plus
