Profile

The Media Planner will be part of the Media team. The person will support the Senior Media Manager in driving all facets of media strategy and planning, with a strong focus on digital.

Responsibilities:

Creative Management – 25%

  • Work closely with in-house creative studio, advertising, marketing and external creative agencies in creative briefings across video, display, social, OOH and print
  • Partner with creative studio to ensure timelines are met to meet launch dates
  • Review and provide feedback on creative to ensure accuracy and alignment to brand guidelines  
  • Communicate creative updates to agency and partners

Budget Maintenance – 25%

  • Day-to-day maintenance of media budgets across the organization
  • Partner with agency to ensure campaign reconciliation, billing and pacing are properly reflected
  • Track all media invoices and route through appropriate approvals and process for payment
  • Partner with Senior Media Manager to ensure accurate monthly estimates, accruals and forecasting

Strategy & Planning – 20%

  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance of media plans
  • Collaborate with digital marketing team to ensure alignment of all paid media campaigns and initiatives with influencers & PR
  • Partner with Senior Media Manager to drive strategy across key initiatives (i.e. special projects, licensee, Wholesale, Amazon)
  • Build and present campaign recaps
  • Meet with media vendors to stay on top of the latest offerings and opportunities for the brand, to help foster relationships within the industry

Reporting & Analysis – 20%

  • Manage weekly digital reporting together with agency
  • Drive continuous improvement across digital channels to maximize performance
  • Report against campaign successes, opportunities and optimizations

LatAm – 10%

  • Liaison with teams in Mexico, Panama and Brazil
  • Together with Director and Senior Manger provide strategy and seasonal guidance
  • Work closely with LATAM teams on media and social creative needs
  • Manage reporting and consolidate with North America

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in Media Planning and Buying, either in-house or for a media agency  
  • Day-to-day maintenance of media budgets across the organization
  • Partner with agency to ensure campaign reconciliation, billing and pacing are properly reflected
  • Track all media invoices and route through appropriate approvals and process for payment
  • Partner with Senior Media Manager to ensure accurate monthly estimates, accruals and forecasting
  • Solid communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Able to prioritize in a rapid pace environment
  • Position is based in NYC; ability to work remotely, if needed
