JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

The Digital Copywriter is responsible for all copy written for Pottery Barn digital channels. He/she collaborates closely with the e-commerce, digital marketing and digital creative teams to ensure consistent storytelling and marketing messaging across our website and paid marketing assets. This position reports to the Editorial Director.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Know how to distill complex marketing messages into snackable, compelling lines of copy

* Are organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven and good at juggling multiple projects at once

* Have experience writing for digital channels

* Can take a conceptual, campaign-focused approach to copywriting

* Have the ability to edit copy - including your own - with an eagle eye

* Are able to anticipate changes based on previous feedback and respond with a flexible, can-do attitude

* Are passionate about the home design space

* Have experience working cross-functionally with internal teams

* Have a four-year degree in a related field

* Are familiar with Chicago Manual of Style
