Manager, Video Account Managers, Agency
Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
You will work across a book of agencies both performance and media focused. At the Agencies, you'll collaborate closely with agency partners and primarily serve as their ambassador to Google's video advertising products and technologies. Within Google, you’ll partner closely with the Holding Company Leads, who established the plan and priorities with Agency execs, and your team will activate those plans and priorities. With strong relationship-building skills, analytical abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset, you will ensure Google is maximizing every video opportunity.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build strong businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Develop and deliver consistent advanced Labs to agencies to hone their video expertise to ensure they activate our solutions efficiently at the account level.
Optimize alongside Agency Partners, showing advanced usage and progress on key metrics and identifying business development opportunities during office hours and regular meetings with Agency team leaders.
Partner with Google Account teams and Sector product specialist teams on account alignment and best practices.
Provide fast troubleshooting and work alongside Agency Leads in implementing strategic business plans; Partner with Agency Leads on quarterly business reviews and joint business plans; execute on the various reporting initiatives.
Lead a project that is scalable across the Agency team and drives value for Google, its agencies and clients.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in advertising sales, account management and/or client services.
Experience with Google Ads search products.
Ability to travel 25% of the time as required within the U.S.
Substantial experience in sales, business development and/or client relationship management.
Experience in working with and/or for major media or performance agencies.
Media planning and buying experience.
Established relationships within the agency marketplace
Deep Google video product knowledge.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to large audiences.
