Role Summary:
Baker Hughes, a GE company is currently hiring a Commercialization Manager based in Houston, Texas.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Commercialization Manager will:
Work with product line management, sales teams, and third-party research consultants to conduct market research and voice-of-customer surveys for strategic new technology developments
Participate in the development and review of the business case for strategic new technology developments
Brand strategic new technology to align with business goals and the company’s overall brand position
Develop strong, value-based messages for new products, services, and solutions
Develop user and buyer personas for new products, services, and solutions
Work with sales and product line management to establish value-based pricing structure
Identify opportunities to include new technology into application-based solutions that bring even greater value to customers
Develop sales training program for new technology launches
Establish sales ambassador network to drive greater engagement / market uptake for new technology launches
Plan and schedule resources required to successfully commercialize new technology
Identify the internal tools required to prepare internal constituents for upcoming product, service, or solution launch
Establish KPIs for new technology commercialization programs
Define commercialization roles and responsibilities in collaboration with sales and product lines
Develop launch plan
Partner with the product line and region to execute sales / technical sales training
Develop customer care program for new technology launches
Identify external channels and tools for new technology launches
Develop customer referrals to support new product, service, or solution launches
Work with the commercial team to develop documentation for tenders
Execute the launch plan for new products, services, or solutions – in collaboration with sales and product line
Continue to support in-market requirements for launched product, service, or solution
Monitor established launch KPIs
Support market expansion opportunities
Develop and monitor feedback loop and pivot where necessary
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism or a related field
5 years of experience in a marketing-related field
Strong team-building, collaboration skills
Knowledge of the oil and gas service industry and related issues and concerns
Excellent planning and project management skills
Exceptional oral and written communications skills
