Liberty Mutual’s in-house trading desk is seeking a talented candidate to join our team and drive innovation into our programmatic media campaigns. Be a part of a team that manages the day-to-day trading of our digital media across the Internet. You will act as a key strategic trader within our campaigns managing the daily optimizations such as budgeting, bidding, and inventory sources to ensure we deliver on our business objectives. Using multiple sources of data such as customer files, log level impression and conversion files, and multi-touch attribution you’ll run queries and analysis to not only draw insights but also have the ability to make changes to campaigns in real-time. In addition to data mining and campaign optimization, you’ll also collaborate with teams across the organization such as Marketing and our Audience Team to ensure our strategy is providing an optimal and efficient customer experience. Responsibilities:
Manage programmatic media campaigns: Buy, measure, and optimize digital media
Analyze campaign performance and implement in-market optimizations: Apply data analysis techniques to identify trends and drivers, including utilizing Digital Attribution tools. Act on insights to drive toward campaign goals.
Create rigorous Test and Learn agenda to drive continuous improvement: Execute A/B, multivariate, and incrementality tests to optimize performance.
Build excellent relationships with key partners: Work hand-in-hand with internal and external partners in media, creative, and content performance. Develop partnerships with key digital platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Google, programmatic and ad-tech players.
Present ideas and work to leadership: Create and share presentations with senior leadership, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Digital Officer, and leaders of other functions.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, mathematics, economics, statistics, or other related field
5 years of experience in insurance, marketing, management consulting, advertising, or other analytical field
Passion for digital media and emerging technologies
Excellent analytic, quantitative, and problem solving skills
Experience querying and analyzing complex data sets to draw meaningful and actionable insights
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Fluency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Superior written and oral communication skills
Comprehensive understanding of programmatic media buying and the digital marketplace
Hands-on experience within at least one demand side platform and Facebook Ads Manager
Experience with DoubleClick tools with ad operations proficiency to traffic, QA, and troubleshoot ad tags and campaign tracking
Media management in online video, social media, and mobile
