The Digital Marketing Analyst is an integral member of the Marketing Communications team, focused on the measurement, analysis and reporting of marketing efforts and making actionable recommendations to achieve organizational goals. Under the direction of the Director, Digital Strategy, the Digital Marketing Analyst will work closely with Marketing and Data, Analysis Reporting teams to analyze data from digital and traditional marketing channels, CRM and other systems to understand marketing attribution and the impact of marketing and communications strategies. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in critical thinking, analysis and problem solving, with a passion for digital marketing and using data to make smart business decisions. The candidate will also have strong communication skills, able to articulate and present methodologies, findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. Finally, the candidate will be an excellent collaborator and team player, able to build strong relationships with team members across the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform in-depth data analysis to identify impact of marketing strategies, campaigns, channels, tactics and audience behaviors, and interpret findings into timely and actionable recommendations for the Marketing Communications team Perform in-depth analysis of marketing analytics in conjunction with metrics from programmatic business areas to identify and recommend opportunities to make a new or greater impact with our marketing, communications and programmatic efforts Create and manage regular and custom analytics reports; design and deliver reports, summary tables, charts and interactive tools in Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools to present key findings and recommendations Create, manage and own the process for aggregating data, distributing and presenting reports and analysis in a timely fashion Analyze and interpret multichannel and conversion funnel performance, including but not limited to website, email, digital advertising, SEO/SEM, social media and traditional channels; provide insights and analysis based on data Build marketing attribution models that are easy to understand and communicate insights to leadership to drive business success Answer important operational questions posed by teams across the organization with thoughtful analysis, leveraging the company's rich data set, and present findings in a clear, concise and professional manner to non-technical audiences Create and manage A/B and multivariate testing efforts across campaigns and evergreen digital marketing initiatives; construct models and scenarios to quantify the impact of proposed tactics Ensure that tracking and attribution methodologies are developed for each campaign, tagging is implemented across all media, and results are reported; organize and manage tracking and reporting tools Manage the implementation of Google Analytics tagging and tracking efforts, including website, event, email and social campaign tagging; guide digital designer/web developer in tagging activities to ensure digital marketing efforts are measured accurately and appropriately Identify and prioritize opportunities for website, SEO, content and multichannel optimization Oversee Google AdWords, Google Grants and other PPC programs to ensure optimization of SEO, SEM and digital advertising
