Sr. Inventory Analyst

Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to fill a key role in a growing organization.  Working along-side Account Management, Ad Operations, Market Development, and Site Teams, this Inventory Specialist role is crucial to proposal & inventory management as well as providing visibility into inventory trends across the Demand Media Network.  There is ample opportunity to grow your career and drive real revenue for a hot media company.    Key Responsibilities

Review sales proposals for inventory accuracy and potential challenges, managing daily inventory requests from Sales Organization
Utilize order management & reporting systems, providing expert recommendations to Sales questions and training to new users
Provide reporting out of DSM, DFP, and Yieldex for various internal stakeholders regarding inventory sell-through
Provide recommendations for inventory alternatives when desired inventory is sold out
Strategize with team members to help come up with ways to improve order & inventory management processes
Proactively alert Sales to potential delivery issues due to overbooking, traffic changes or other seasonal nuances across all properties
Drive application of quantitative analysis to inform ongoing inventory decisions
Collaborate with cross functional groups including Ad Ops, Product, Ad Solutions, Sales and Finance to identify inventory opportunities
Forecast inventory availability, sell through, employing statistical analysis and modeling when needed
Maintain reporting, forecasting models, dashboard, etc related to all ad sales inventory channels

  Skills/Experience

BA/BS Degree
At least 2 years’ professional experience in ad operations or online media/advertising with experience in inventory management a plus
Experience with DFP & DSM or other order management tool preferred
Experience with Yieldex preferred, but not required
Inventory Management experience preferred
Candidate must possess excellent attention to detail and be self-motivated with impeccable organization skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere to meet tight deadlines
Strong analytical capability and Excel proficiency required
Comfortable in fast-paced and changing environment
Excellent written and communication skills
Experience with online advertising platforms (Double-click (DFP), Atlas, etc)
Experience with digital advertising and online publishers with multiple sales channels a plus
Knowledge of Salesforce, Operative Order Management, Advanced excel] or other business analytics software preferred
