The Marketing Researcher of Brand and Advertising Effectiveness will lead research initiatives in support of managing Facebook’s business brand. Your research initiatives will provide clear visibility into brand and advertising effectiveness by our global marketing efforts and inform incremental improvements. Key research initiatives include global advertiser brand health tracking, platform specific research, campaign effectiveness measurement and various ad hoc studies in support of the Business Marketing Organization. The Brand Effectiveness Researcher will build strong cross-functional relationships to drive a common and deep understanding of market perceptions and influence key stakeholders to act on the findings.
Manage the execution, insights generation, and presentation for custom global tracking studies that capture advertiser sentiments about Facebook and its portfolio of apps and services.
Design and oversee custom research studies in the area of brand, platform and campaign measurement.
Manage relationships with third party, syndicated research services to identify and evangelize insights to round out our understanding of customer and market perceptions.
Perform custom research studies to inform master brand and platform brand strategy related to B2B audiences.
10 years of experience using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
Knowledge of brand and advertising research, including marketing effectiveness
Experience using primary and secondary research to influence decision making, executives and colleagues
Experience in communications with all levels of organizations including leadership
Experience executing quantitative research, including questionnaire design, fielding, analytics, and reporting
Experience with survey management tools (like Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and data analysis tools (like SPSS)
Experience in statistics including significance testing, correlation analysis, and driver analysis
Experience directing agencies/vendors
Experience in both research supplier and client sides
Experience in the digital advertising eco-system
Experience using self-service survey tools for fast-turnaround insights
Experience with visual software and tools that enhance rendering of insights
