Our marketing team is on the hunt for a killer Mid-Sr. Copywriter that will manage and ultimately own how we speak to our diverse audience of customers, members, and artists day-in day-out.
What we do - Society6 is home to hundreds of thousands of artists from around the globe, uploading and selling their original works as 28 premium consumer goods from Art Prints to Throw Blankets. They create, we produce and fulfill, and every purchase pays an artist. Simple but huge.
Backed by a big brand mission, you’ll immediately get your hands dirty absorbing and guiding the Society6 brand tone, while simultaneously word crafting to deliver against marketing, partnership, and content needs. With tonal backbone down pat, you'll quickly get into more complex brand campaigns and projects.
This is the proverbial hit-the-ground-running opportunity and we’re looking for the Usain Bolt of copywriting.

Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and write authentic and compelling on-brand copy to drive consumer sales and engagement for an international customer base
Blend SEO and brand-tone into all necessary customer and artist touch points
Prioritize and adhere to creative deliverable deadlines
Collaborate with creative team on the development of landing pages, product descriptions, and content
Collaboratively brainstorm new ideas for on-site, content, and social initiatives
Identify and proactively support copy needs across all departments
Produce copy for all external communications
Requirements:
3 years’ copywriting experience for product-driven eCommerce businesses
Track record of selling product with compelling copy - you've taken a business from 'here to here'
Proven ability to draw customer engagement and clicks-throughs
Strong understanding of SEO supporting tools
Lifestyle brand experience a major plus
Proactive self-starter
Excellent verbal and written communications
Writing for communities a major plus
Bonus points if you've fostered a community of your own
Comfortable taking feedback and turning into click-worthy copy
