Description Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, this position provides coordination for all marketing projects to include scheduling and planning for utilization of internal and outside resources as needed. This role requires interface, communication, and coordination with the Marketing team members to balance priorities and assignments as they may direct. Coordinates and schedules projects related to the promotion of Brodart products to include advertising and media placements, tracking requirements, resources and schedules to meet campaign and media deadlines, coordinating and communicating with other members of the Marketing team as needed to ensure the prioritization and effective use of available resources to achieve the goals of the marketing plan. Track and report progress on such projects to the Marketing Management on a regular basis to ensure visibility of necessary deadlines and performance of project goals. Leads weekly project status meetings. Also responsible for approval of project expenses, invoice inquiries, and tracking of project expenditures. Responsible for coordination, scheduling and production of Brodart's print catalog. This includes: managing the procurement of the print contract, acting as primary contact with the chosen vendor, and scheduling\/tracking all internal requirements and deadlines for the marketing department. Travel as required. Qualifications Associate degree in liberal arts, communications or other marketing discipline -- or equivalent experience. One to three years of experience in advertising, marketing or other promotional activities preferred. PC Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Internet and other marketing driven programs such as Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to interact with people and present ideas in a positive manner with strong verbal and written communication skills. Superb organizational skills with the ability to plan, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize as needed. Must be tactfully assertive and deadline-driven. Proven experience negotiating effectively with outside vendors required. Experience with Basecamp or other project tracking program highly desirable.
