Work You'll Do

The account executive will act as the information hub within a highly collaborative, creative team of strategists, creators, and social media managers to lead organic social channel management & community growth on a key entertainment brand. In this role, the account executive is responsible for flawless project management and facilitating collaboration between the agency teams and outside client partners. Their focus is to oversee the basic support functions for the team, drive the internal processes, build client relationships, and foster an environment where great social-first creative is born.

In this role, you will:

• Be a trusted partner to the internal teams and clients, while effectively managing the overall processes to ensure the highest quality creative work.

• Oversee projects within an agile POD team of strategy, creative and social media managers ensuring successful strategic planning, creative development and execution across all projects.

• Build expertise in clients' business and function as an effective integration coordinator for their business needs within the agency. Stay informed and personally involved, ensuring sound planning, good service and a solid client/agency relationship.

• Maintain open and complete communications of client status and issues with POD team leaders. Keep Account leadership informed of the status of projects, problems, plans and meetings, and involve appropriate agency management personnel at key times.

• Work effectively within measurement tools to prepare reporting and optimization recommendations based upon relevant KPIs.

• The account executive reports directly into the Account Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree required

• 3 years of experience within the advertising, marketing and/or public relations environment

• A passion for social culture and the evolving digital/social media environment

• Social and digital media savvy, up to date on current digital trends and behaviors within age demographic

• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and positive attitude

• Highly polished, organized and process-oriented with a flawless attention to detail

• Strong ability to multi-task with a proven ability to efficiently manage quick-turnaround projects

• Willingness to take direction and desire to learn

• Flexibility, circumstances can change very quickly

• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Critical thinker with ability to identify potential problems and resolve them independently or know when to escalate

• Proactive

• Remain confident and resilient when challenged

• Ability to travel up to 30% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
