POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing the production of marketing campaigns and initiatives from initial kickoff through deployment. This position focuses on trafficking of new project requests and helping to evolve and manage intake of processes to drive continuous business improvement. IMPACT : To assist credit unions in their research and understanding of products and services and advise credit unions of the benefits of MCUL products and services to improve the lives of their members. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Manage project requests and workflow of the Communications team to ensure business strategies are successfully carried out and accountability standards are consistently upheld. Collaborate with decision makers, project owners and stakeholders to define business deliverables, KPI's, and audience requirements and build matching project plans. Prepare and monitor project plans to determine time frame, funding requirements, project scheduling and staffing/resource allocation to various phases of individual projects. Negotiate resources and pricing proposal for vendor's client, making necessary modifications and, including the writing of scopes of work. Provide guidance, direction and expectations to Communications team and advertising agency on assigned projects. Manage and monitor the creation of in-house products and marketing materials that fit within annual budgets and fit within the scope of the MCUL marketing goals. Act as a relationship manager for internal/external clients. Maintain regular reports on project status, traffic and annual project calendar. Performs other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU NEED: Strong ability to adjust to change and work requirements. Strong innovation skills. Ability to take big picture ideas and break down into action steps. Excellent written, interpersonal, and group communications skills, both over the phone and in person. Ability to work independently and effectively with little or no supervision. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem solving and analytical ability. Strong knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques. Ability to work in a team environment. Bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing, English, Advertising, Public Relations or related field required. PMP certification is preferred. 5-7 years experience managing Marketing or Operations projects required; 3-5 years experience in the financial industry, associations, or advertising agencies experience preferred. 3-5 years experience working with and communicating effectively with all business levels and stakeholders. Experience with Microsoft office required, CRM and Adobe Creative Suite experience is preferred.
