Weber Shandwick is looking for a highly

experienced paid media expert to join our team as a Vice President, Paid Media

Planning & Buying. This role will have an incredible impact on helping to

drive the evolution of Weber Shandwick’s paid media capabilities and will be

responsible for guiding growth and governance of the paid media offering. Successful

candidates will have a demonstrated ability to lead and grow a paid media team

and have significant experience working in an integrated fashion with creative,

earned media, owned media, and analytics teams.



You Will Be Doing


Practice Growth and Operations

Oversight and

growth of the integrated paid media team with limited oversight.Contribution and

implementation of governance models within the paid media practice Continued

evolution of Weber Shandwick’s paid media offering and unique value propositionSenior oversight

of the planning and buying processes for key clientsImplementation of

operational processes for paid media including planning and buying, including

working closely with counterparts in Analytics, Creative, Finance and

Legal  Thought

leadership as it pertains to integrated media and paid media trends

Client Management & New Business


Lead planning for

top clients and new business prospectsDevelop a

pipeline of new business opportunities by working in conjunction with internal

account leadsBe a champion for

paid media strategies, educating senior peers on the uses and benefits of media

investment Recruitment &

retention Management of paid

media team in DC office Work with leadership

to develop growth plans for staff','!*!Basic Qualifications 9 years of experience and deep proficiency in media planning, buying, and measurement principles, particularly in digital / social mediaDemonstrated experience growing and managing a paid media practice.
