Digital Marketing Specialist - Programmatic Advertising
Naylor Association Solutions is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist – Programmatic Marketing who will be a core member of our Programmatic Marketing team. The role will work directly with our Association Clients & Account Management, helping to develop tactical executions that align with Association revenue goals and objectives across our 1,800 Association clients in the US and Canada. To help optimize and increase traffic to multiple digital properties, and to collaborate with the marketing and online teams to improve the integrated marketing of all company digital publications. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing online marketing promotions, campaigns and initiatives. Activities include researching associations and markets, email marketing, search engine marketing and other related duties.
Support client engagements by recommending, developing and executing programmatic campaigns that deliver on client and Naylor objectives
Develop and implement online marketing promotions, campaigns and initiatives that drive traffic and awareness for client websites, online buyers’ guides, digital publications, videos and other online properties.
Manage and optimize digital campaigns executed in a programmatic ecosystem
Build media plans, including selecting tactics and DSP’s appropriate to each campaign
Actively create and solicit partnerships in the marketplace that drive traffic growth
Through individual research or in conjunction with Marketing Account Specialist assigned to project; develop understanding of existing marketing activity, product positioning, end user and expected sales goals to be attained through audience and traffic growth.
Understand and analyze traffic data, demographic information and usage statistics to strengthen marketing messages.
Collaborate with clients to increase publication exposure and accessibility within their online and offline communications.
Track online audience development / retention through Web traffic data, opens/clicks, buyers’ guide key word searches, landing page data, etc.
Manage PPC and pay-per-engagement campaigns that boost the visibility of client websites and publications across digital networks.
Research new tools that enable more efficient and effective campaigns.
Regularly report on campaigns internally and to clients.
Curate a regular schedule of social media content for corporate promotion.
Assist clients with promotion of their publications through their preferred social networks.
Research ways to grow a presence on social media using new tools and networks.
Bachelor’s degree in online marketing, advertising or related field will be considered. Relevant experience may substitute for degree.
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred
1-2 years experience with programmatic advertising is strongly desired
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated knowledge of SEO and SEM, social media / networking, online advertising, and marketing automation This includes Google AdWords, Yahoo Sponsored Search, Bing, Facebook Ads, and Twitter Ads among others
HTML5 knowledge preferred, but not required
Demonstrated problem-solving and time-management skills; ability to work on multiple projects at one time
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, and proficiency in conducting Internet searches with a variety of search engines
Ability to conduct self according to Naylor’s operating values, which include operating with honesty and integrity, and in a spirit of teamwork and respect
