UM is looking for a dynamic, fun, strategic thinker who is looking to advance their media planning career!
We are looking for a Partner, Portfolio Management who will be responsible for cultivating a deep relationship with multiple internal and external constituents while developing, executing, and monitoring all media investment strategy and plans across a single Global client, ensuring the approach is consistent world-wide.
In partnership with a Partner, Digital Investment, lead a data-led, digital first integrated media planning, investment and activation across Display/Programmatic, Search, Social
Manage team of 3-4 integrated supervisors and planners on day-to-day responsibilities including billing, media plan updates as well as training and development
In close coordination with Partner, Digital Investment, oversee and take accountability for digital performance, budgets and savings
Prioritize work flow for the agency team across multiple lines of business on a single client’s account that is heavily matrixed with multiple campaigns and events each year
Oversee media plan approach and strategy consistent with brand marketing objectives
Lead the coordination of client approach and processes across Global Regional Hubs
Inform budgetary discussions and incremental funding requests
Maintain relationships with all levels of client contact
Prepare and make presentations to clients regarding media recommendations, ensuring buy-in
Compile final plan recommendation presentations with detailed rationale
Manage client requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information
Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration or communications
Seven to nine years’ experience in media planning including three to five years management experience required
B2B experience is a plus. Working on a global account a plus too.
Experience across traditional and digital channels
Experience with multiple business categories
Strong managerial skills and quantitative skills
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Thrives in fast paced environment
High level of comfort presenting to clients and internal team members
Proven track record with client relations and growing existing business
Solid awareness of industry trends and planning/measurement models
Primarily digital: heavy online display/programmatic, social, search, events
Understanding of marketing and communications process; Planning, buying, managing and optimizing across all channels (directly and/or consulting)
Ability to interpret and analyze data to inform go-to-market strategies
